Tropicana Field will open its doors to Tampa Bay Rays fans for official watch parties while the team plays World Series games in Milwaukee. Fans can follow the action from the field or from seats in the stadium, with the telecast shown on the ballpark's 171-by-36-foot LED video board behind right field.

The watch parties are scheduled for Games 1 and 2 on Friday and Saturday and, if the series requires them, Games 6 and 7 on Oct. 30 and 31. Game time is 8 p.m., and stadium gates will open one hour before first pitch.

The Rays are offering three ticket options. A $10 general admission ticket covers the telecast, access to the Cownose Clubhouse stingray tank, family entertainment and drawings, and the chance to play catch on the field, for which fans should bring their own gloves. Food and drink will be sold separately.

A $35 ticket adds a buffet of ballpark fare at the Hall of Fame Bar & Grill, after which guests can move to the field or seats to watch the game. The top option is a $60 all-inclusive ticket for the 162 Landing area, where food, beer, wine and soft drinks are included in the price. Those guests receive field-level seating and what the team describes as an optimal view of the video board.

Prepaid parking in Lot 6 is available for $5. Tickets for the watch parties and parking can be purchased through the team.

The series will shift to St. Petersburg for Games 3, 4 and 5 between the Rays and the Brewers, scheduled for Monday through Wednesday at Tropicana Field. The team has a limited number of tickets for those games, and others may be found through secondary sellers such as Seat Geek, StubHub, Ticketmaster and Gametime.

The city of St. Petersburg is also planning celebrations of its own. It will hold block parties on Friday and Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. on Central Avenue between 13th and 15th streets. The city said it created limited-edition posters that will be available to residents during the events.

In addition, the city is lighting up the St. Pete Pier in Rays colors. Businesses and residential buildings are being encouraged to show their support by lighting up in blue and yellow and displaying messages backing the team.
